Bring on pointy metallics.

Shiny silver pointy toe pumps are on my fall it-list. For sure.
They're just so fab.

I'm going shopping this weekend for ma birfday, (BRING IT OOON 15!)
& I'm definitely looking for metallic shoes. These Zara ones are actually pretty amazing.

Nails nails nails

Here are some pictures from The Blonds' Spring show, I am just in love with their nails.
I actually just got mine done (I wish I had seen these sooner not that I could've done them like theeeese but still...) and went with black.
I've always wanted to try black. It looks so fab and glossy.

Day 1.

First day back at school. It's weird in a nice, familiar way, and it definitely was good to see everyone again.
(blargh, now that the easy day is over I know that homework and studying awaits me. De-li-ci-ous.)

Nicholas Kirkwood shoes. 'Nuff said.
OK, so maybe not 'nuff was said. But let's make it speedy.
They are beautiful art. But they're better than art because, to quote Nigel from 'The Devil Wears Prada', "what they created was greater than art because you live your life in it. "

Flared jeans and organic juice.

Enjoying the last few days of summer, darlings?

I can't believe summer is ending... The only good thing about the gorgeously steaming hot weather changing is that we will soon be able start wearing boots (that I have been collecting this summer for some reason...) and layering!

Anyway, I hope you're sucking up every last second of freedom- I sure am. Kisses !

-H&M top
-H&M flare pants

Pradafur

I was walking around Holts a few days ago & something caught my eye.
Furry pink Prada bags. I had to rub my eyes because, truly I found it hard to believe Prada would make such bags. Even though I was a big shell-shocked at first, (mostly because I thought it looked like a Furby gone slighty wrong) but I've grown to love them, and dare I say, reaaaally want one. Or two. Or all.

If the totes were cheaper I would most probably buy one, but the clutch alone is $595. But the trend might trickle down to the more affordable shops, and then I will be able to walk down the street with furry arm candy on me. I really want to get me some yummy candy-hued faux-fur this fall.
I still have so many pictures to share with you guys, I barely know where to start! But I promise they'll be up ... someday.

Nebula.

Gorgeous, n'est-ce pas?
I have a bunch of pictures on hold (e-mail is going bazerrrrk, I cannot get to them, but it should be fixed tonight...) but tomorrow I'll be sure to put 'em up.
Z & I have been going out on our little day trips, getting to know the city we call home) and haven't gotten too lost so far (OK, fine today it took us 1 hour to go to Bonjour Brioche but at least we got there after a while...)

We saw a guy in black overalls, funky hair and a pink bike, and I almost asked him if I could take a picture of him for my blog, but we decided that we had to make it more legit and show them some proof that I wasn't some creep, so tomorrow we're going downtown for some street-style pictchas!

Goodnight darlings!

Low leather step-in shoe with an upper resembling a moccasin but with a broad, flat heel

loafer [ˈləʊfÉ™]
n
1. a person who avoids work; idler
2. (Clothing & Fashion) a moccasin-like shoe for casual wear
[perhaps from German Landläufer vagabond]
DRIES VAN NOTEN
When I used to think of loafers I'd think of chunky brown shoes, something my father probably wore when he was 8, with his checked top and over sized glasses.
Of course, old fashion always resurfaces, and all of the above is still currently relevant in the fashion world, as vintage is never frowned upon.
But now, loafers have been reinvented, and are no longer loafers. They are uber-sexy-wooden-heeled-loafers-that-are-totes-in-this-fall!
I'm really excited to get a pair for fall, which is my favorite fashion season by far (not too cold so no need to hide&bundle up but not too hot so a jacket and scarf/layering is appropriate) and rock them loafers.

Vintage.

Over the past few days I've been spending alot of my time hunting down designer vintage shops and popping by, in hope of finding lightly used (not to mention cheap!) Manolos and Chanel purses.

Today I went to Labels or Love, a really cute shop with prices that ranged from about $50 dollars to about $2000. I pretty much freaked when I came across a $299 Louis Vuitton Speedy (very used, but who doesn't like that vintage-y look and feel, right?)Definitely going back.
I also found Haute Classics, an online Vintage/Classic designer pieces shop, with designers such as Alexander Wang, Chloe, Diane Von Fustenburg and more!

I'll keep you posted as I continue my venture to find cheap and gorgeous designer pieces.
And, here are some pictures from a couple of weeks ago, down at Cherry Beach with Anna !

Big Wardrobe.

A few days ago I saw an ad for www.bigwardrobe.com in some magazine, and was dying to check it out, eager to find clothes and designer purses for less.

First off, there is a cost to buy (and not just the cost of the product, but its 1 GBP per month, which isn't expensive, but I just couldn't be bothered to pay that.) but not to swap.
So, I decided to swap, or at least to check it out.
They have great brands like Chanel, D&G, Chloe, Prada... but I honestly found nothing. Maybe it just wasn't a good day.

With that, I leave you to go eat brekkie. Pictures lay-tah.

50 degrees. Hurray.

Please note the sarcasm. (we truly need a font for that, right?)

Too hot. Just picked out a picture from my trip to Kensington, trying on a $65, itchy, pointy boobed, small-as-hell waist (I wonder how i fit in it)... Have a nice heatwave day :)

It is summer. And I'm writing.

After months of taking a break from blogging, I'm back!

Summer in el Torro has been gorgeous and smokin' hot, and I'm so happy to be in the city to go discover the most fab places to shop and get inspired!

Last week I went to Kensington Market and bought a fabulous vintage YSL hot pink jacket, and I'm going back tuesday... There are some amazing steals down there!

Burberry Prorsum 2011

Tuesday, I went to Bloor St. and went to Burberry... and tried on the most amazing 130 mm Patent Pointed Toe Pumps with a spiked Trench.
Man, the outfit added up to let's say... almost 5000$. It's sad eh?
Anyway, I've been loving all the spikes and straps and leather of Burberry Prorsum 2011.

It's raining... (still better then snow, no?)

March.
Aaaark I'm dying here. I want- no I need heat.

So I was getting dresses this morning (crappy weather + massive headache= black's easy for non-inspired Anna) and realized that my outfit was fine but lacking colour. (Blue, I think... )

Anyway, I'm now hunting a big blue clutch down like an eagle, (must get ready for NYC in Easteeeer!)

I'm wearing a vintage fur collar
Not that you can tell but I'm also wearing an H&M top and sweater

These are some pictures from another rainy saturday...

But I've ordered a few things from Asos that I hope will arrive before New York!
