On Jil Sander, and writing with freshly painted nails.

Personally, I love nothing more than laying on my stomach beside the fireplace with a bowl of fish crackers and fresh, crisp (you'll be hearing that word often in this post- don't ask, I often get these weird obsessions with words and use them whenever possible for weeks... I suppose 'crisp' is better than 'pharmaceutical'- don't ask how I got obsessed with that word, but I wrote it down everywhere. Moving on...) taupe (or Hot Coco as they call it) nails and writing about fashion.

Jil Sander.

I can't get enough of the crisp (yes, I went there.) white tops and her oh so colorful/silky/perfect/CRISP skirts and high pants.

The whole collection is so bright and poppy, and I love the contrast between the bright and shiny with the plain- yet so perfect somehow- and white, it works beautifully and really elongates the figure.

I want to fly away.

-Most inspiring pictures to me-

By the way that blonde woman in the dress with the pearls is Eleanor Lambert at the first fashion week in NYC in 1943.

The Devil can't wear Prada if...

OK- so, I'm not the Devil, but I sure can't wear Prada if I can't-for the life of me- find the perfect Prada pure I'd seen in Holts about two months ago.
Not that I waaaas going to buy it, but I'm bored, and have nothing better to do but sulk and frantically search for the perfect (I tell you, it was the most perfect little Prada sling..) Prada bag.

It's orange, green and brown, which sounds weird but oh well, it's quite small, it's a shoulder bag (thin leather slingy strap) and says Prada on it in gold letters.
If by any chance you find it, PLEASE, PLEASE let me know :)

I know it's not affordable, but at least I can calculate how many years I'll have to save it to buy it ;)

Yves Saint Laurent...

We could all use a little Yves...

Isn't it just the best shoe? Aaaand, it comes in black. So, either go all out: Spikey AND Blue, or you know, just Spikey and Black... I didn't get that myself, if you did, please tell me.

The Spikey Black Shoe. (SBS, now you know.)

These are, -to me, the perfect shoes. Black, shiny, and with the playful toe.
It's LBS (Little Black Shoe.. Woah! I'm on a ROLL!) bliss.

I simply adore the jacket- And clearly, (as we've all noticed I assume) blue was a big thing this season for YSL. Wonder why... Ah, who cares. It's elegant, simple, crisp, and bee-you-ti-foul.

Dress: Zara (TRF)
Shoes: Zara
Forgive me, I haven't been blogging much... Or at all.
I hope you guys all had a great Christmas and have a Happy New Year!

So, usually, every year I kind of forget my resolutions, but this year, I intend to stick to my resolutions!

1) Learn Russian
2) Go to designer vintage stores more often (I found the most amazing little shops in Toronto, I'll put pictures up, when I go)
3) Do some model work

More later.

Winter Storms...

I'm on holidays! This week end I've been watching Desperate Housewives "en boucle", I'm at season 4 right now... It's my newest obsession and since I have to wait almost 3 weeks for the latest DH episode to come out, I'm just watching all the seasons.

Still not in a real Christmas mood, we're still renovating, so no tree in sight (yet...) and even less Christmas jingles.

Aaaaah, that felt nice. Doesn't it feel more Christmassy already?

Burberry Winter Storms Collection

Oh, and the pictures are from Burberry's Winter Storms
collection. I love their collection, however, I have to say that the coats and boots are definitely NOT warm enough for winter storms. (At least not here.), it's more like rain storms, but who am I to judge, I still love Burberry.

I'll post pictures of Toronto soon, it's getting pretty snowy and festive, with lights and all.

More later.

PS: And gift of the day... Pardon my lack of creativity, but all I have to offer is something from Burberry's Winter Storms collection. xx
