Pradafur
I was walking around Holts a few days ago & something caught my eye.
Furry pink Prada bags. I had to rub my eyes because, truly I found it hard to believe Prada would make such bags. Even though I was a big shell-shocked at first, (mostly because I thought it looked like a Furby gone slighty wrong) but I've grown to love them, and dare I say, reaaaally want one. Or two. Or all.
If the totes were cheaper I would most probably buy one, but the clutch alone is $595. But the trend might trickle down to the more affordable shops, and then I will be able to walk down the street with furry arm candy on me. I really want to get me some yummy candy-hued faux-fur this fall.
I still have so many pictures to share with you guys, I barely know where to start! But I promise they'll be up ... someday.

Nebula.
Gorgeous, n'est-ce pas?
I have a bunch of pictures on hold (e-mail is going bazerrrrk, I cannot get to them, but it should be fixed tonight...) but tomorrow I'll be sure to put 'em up.
Z & I have been going out on our little day trips, getting to know the city we call home) and haven't gotten too lost so far (OK, fine today it took us 1 hour to go to Bonjour Brioche but at least we got there after a while...)
We saw a guy in black overalls, funky hair and a pink bike, and I almost asked him if I could take a picture of him for my blog, but we decided that we had to make it more legit and show them some proof that I wasn't some creep, so tomorrow we're going downtown for some street-style pictchas!
Goodnight darlings!

Low leather step-in shoe with an upper resembling a moccasin but with a broad, flat heel
loafer [ˈləʊfə]
n
1. a person who avoids work; idler
2. (Clothing & Fashion) a moccasin-like shoe for casual wear
[perhaps from German Landläufer vagabond]
DRIES VAN NOTEN |
When I used to think of loafers I'd think of chunky brown shoes, something my father probably wore when he was 8, with his checked top and over sized glasses.
Of course, old fashion always resurfaces, and all of the above is still currently relevant in the fashion world, as vintage is never frowned upon.
But now, loafers have been reinvented, and are no longer loafers. They are uber-sexy-wooden-heeled-loafers-that-are-totes-in-this-fall!
I'm really excited to get a pair for fall, which is my favorite fashion season by far (not too cold so no need to hide&bundle up but not too hot so a jacket and scarf/layering is appropriate) and rock them loafers.

Vintage.
Over the past few days I've been spending alot of my time hunting down designer vintage shops and popping by, in hope of finding lightly used (not to mention cheap!) Manolos and Chanel purses.
Today I went to Labels or Love, a really cute shop with prices that ranged from about $50 dollars to about $2000. I pretty much freaked when I came across a $299 Louis Vuitton Speedy (very used, but who doesn't like that vintage-y look and feel, right?)Definitely going back.
I also found Haute Classics, an online Vintage/Classic designer pieces shop, with designers such as Alexander Wang, Chloe, Diane Von Fustenburg and more!
I'll keep you posted as I continue my venture to find cheap and gorgeous designer pieces.
And, here are some pictures from a couple of weeks ago, down at Cherry Beach with Anna !

Big Wardrobe.
A few days ago I saw an ad for www.bigwardrobe.com in some magazine, and was dying to check it out, eager to find clothes and designer purses for less.
First off, there is a cost to buy (and not just the cost of the product, but its 1 GBP per month, which isn't expensive, but I just couldn't be bothered to pay that.) but not to swap.
So, I decided to swap, or at least to check it out.
They have great brands like Chanel, D&G, Chloe, Prada... but I honestly found nothing. Maybe it just wasn't a good day.
With that, I leave you to go eat brekkie. Pictures lay-tah.
